My past experiences learning english

I have been studying English since I was 5th grade at my elementary school. My big sister called Asami had learned English at English school like ECC junior. And I just wanted to do everything that my sister was doing. That’s how I started learning English .I had a great time there. Sometimes we had cakes, snacks and teas. And we had Christmas party too. We got some presents every year. So I loved my school a lot.

And then I entered junior high school. There we have to study English. I could do English a little bit better than my friends. I was very happy about that. The more I studied, the better I could do than my friends. But there was a one girl who was always better at everything than me. I could never win. She is still my best friends though. I somehow have wanted to go to the US around this time. I don’t know why I chose America. But I think America was the only one that I knew about. But unfortunately I didn’t have chance to go there.

After I graduated from my junior high, I became a member of English course at my high school. We had a project that we go to America for a month and stay with a family and study at UCR as study abroad students. I went to there when I was 1st grade at my high school. And I learned not only English but also more important things. What I learned in America was the best experience that I had ever gone through. I am sure that without the experience, I wouldn’t be here now.

And now I am here and study at KUIS. It takes me two hours to get here from my house. It’s sometimes so hard. But I just am very excited and can’t wait for brand new things.
