Film unit

Film unit was the most interesting unit we’ve ever done!!
I really liked it, seeing trailers, watching a lot of kind of movies, making own films, learning word linking. It was always lots of fun.

I made a horror movie with my teammates. It was awesome!!
But we had some difficulties in shooting the film. We need to take the film at night so that we could make it scarier. It was really hard to get all the teammates together. We had own schedules. It seemed it was nearly impossible. But we made it. We only had time for two days after 5th period finished that we could work on the film together. And only one of my teammates knew how to edit the film we made. We had to rely on him even we really hate it. He did quite a good job. We were all pretty satisfied with our edited film. We also found it very interesting to act. I was very embarassed at first, but I could quite enjoy after all. My teammates seemed to enjoy too.

Seeing other teams’ movies was also exciting. I was really looking forward to seeing their movies. Their films were great. I couldn’t help laughing during their presentations.

However there was one thing that I hated during doing this unit. That is… I could hear Japanese anytime…. I think I tried to speak English as much as I could, but it seemed that some of our classmates always spoke Japanese. It was really sad when I spoke to my friends in English, they replied in Japanese. They seemed that they didn’t even try to speak English. I really didn’t like it.

Anyway I enjoyed this unit very much. I wish we could make another film.
I hope our next unit will be as exciting as film unit.
